A trip to Pisa as part of a “typography” course. It’s more an excuse to eat well and drink far too much. One eventful night sees Kita breaking her leg, and the guys skinny-dipping in the fountain outside the station and having naked towel-flicking showers back in the hotel… I missed all of this of course, having left the group earlier in the night feeling less than 100% and KO’d in bed.

München excursion
A day excursion to München to some design agencies and the Pinakothek der Moderne. Not a fantastically interesting day and didn’t see much of the city at all. Ate a Schnitzel the size of yer face though…

Frühlingsfest
I go to the Frühlingsfest with the Mexicans. It’s pretty much the same thing as the Volksfest back in October: over-priced food stalls, amusements, beer and drunken youths.

Northen Fleamarket
A bunch of photos to and from a wander to the flea-markets in the north of Stuttgart. No pictures of the markets mind…

Milan Trip
A trip to Milan to visit Alyn. Highlights included getting mauled by mosquitoes, getting pooped on by a pigeon and the gathering of Scots at Piazza del Duomo for the Scotland vs. Italy match.

MEDes Workshop 05- Stockholm
My second MEDes workshop, hosted this year in Stockholm by Konstfack. I can’t remember much from this week in all honesty, but the theme was ‘Shelter’, which was ironic as the school found out mid week, due to insurance issues, that they could no longer accommodate us at night.

Chinesischer Garten, Stuttgart
A walk around the Chinese Gardens just a few minutes down the road from the AKA. It’s pretty small, but quite nice all the same- the snow makes it a bit more interesting still. Further down the road provides a good viewpoint of the city.

Russian has a Party
The Russian guy across the hall hosts a small get together. I have a couple of swift drinks and make my excuses before they head for a night on the tiles.

Erasmus Berlin Trip
One of the very few organised events for the Erasmus students studying at the AKA. Was not too bad a trip at all, visiting quite a few tourist traps, catching some of the Berlinale, eating 1€ Kebabs, Currywurst and drinking cheap Vodka + Bullit energy drink. Good times!
